Melissa is a creative marketing communications professional with over 20 years experience in strategic communications and brand building programs in the consumer goods, fashion, public policy and hospitality arenas. Her areas of expertise include sponsorships, events, strategic public relations and cause related marketing campaigns.
Career highlights include spearheading the sponsorship program of the Swarovski Star at Rockefeller Center in Manhattan and Swarovski’s multi-year cause related marketing campaign with the American Heart Association – Go Red for Women. She drove marketing efforts for the top selling jewelry item in the United States in history for Swarovski, and was a key member of the team that changed public perception of Swarovski as “your grandmother’s jewelry” to a desirable, fashion forward brand.
She is an active volunteer leader with Mom’s Demand Action.
